- PATV will accept a maximum
of 4 tapes at a time: all tapes must be delivered in a case

- For maximum cablecast
quality, record audio on channel two or mix.
Producers who are shooting their own programs with home
camcorders should not depend on camera microphones (the mic
built into your camera); make use of external audio.
- Label your tape clearly on
the Face and the Spine: include the program/series title,
episode number, cablecast date on our system and the running
time (RT:). Your tapes must be labeled properly and clearly
if you expect them to air at the correct time. Include
special instructions such as PLAY HI-FI
- All tapes must have at least
one minute of continuous video including color bars, tone
and countdown before the start of the actual program. Video
and audio levels must remain consistent with a minimum of
fluctuation and meet industry standards.
- In addition to the minute of
pre-roll, we also need at least a minute of end roll; that
is, a minute of black at the end of your program. Breaks in
the video signal can cause a program to be pulled from the
air and the producer will be asked to submit a new tape.
